In the homes we come from, ghee was the family's wealth. It was made patiently, stored with care and shared generously. No one rushed it, stretched it or mixed anything into it. Neither do we.
Milk is set into curd overnight, then churned with a wooden bilona, just as it has been for generations.
The makhan simmers over a low flame until it turns golden, grainy and deeply aromatic.
No preservatives, no colour, no vegetable oil. Only pure ghee.
Every batch is tested against FSSAI ghee standards before it is sealed in glass.
From modur pulao in Kashmir to payasam in Kerala, every state has a dish that simply isn't complete without ghee. Hover over a state to discover its favourite.
Everything you want to know about purity, storage and delivery.
Yes. The only ingredient in our jar is ghee made from desi cow or buffalo milk. No vegetable oil, palm oil, vanaspati or fillers of any kind.
A2 ghee is made from the milk of indigenous Indian cow breeds, which naturally produce the A2 type of beta-casein protein. Traditionally prepared using the Bilona method, it involves fermenting milk into curd, churning it to obtain butter, and slowly heating the butter to make rich, aromatic ghee.
No. Our ghee is made without unnecessary additives, fillers or preservatives.
Cow and buffalo ghee have different textures, colours and flavour profiles. Choose according to your preference.
A naturally grainy texture can occur due to the crystallisation of milk fat and is generally a sign of traditionally prepared ghee.
Store the jar in a cool, dry place and always use a clean, dry spoon.
